This October 23, 2008, 24 RC Metro Iloilo Rotarians will be leaving for Cagayan De Oro City to participate in the 18th Annual Metro Rotary Sportsfest. We have only one mission in mind, and that is to retain the OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP trophy we won during last year's Metro Rotary Sportsfest.

In behalf of the our delegation, I would like to express my sincerest thanks to our members who unselfishly provided the necessary financial support for our Metro Iloilo Team. Your support brings inspiration to our team members to perform well. We pray for smooth and safe travel for our delegation.

At our special meeting of the Board of Directors, PDG Boy Jarantilla was unanimously endorsed by the Board to the nominee pool for selection to sit as member of the Board of Directors of the Metro Iloilo Water District representing the civic organizations.
