Finally, our 30th anniversary celebration is over and we can now relax and wait! This is just the start of our Rotary year and we have a lot of projects to do.  Just this Monday, immediately after our 30th anniversary celebration, PP Kano, Dir Tom, Sec Don, Rtn Paul and I went to Dueñas Central Elementary School to give the 2 sets of workbooks, which are good for 100 grade 1 pupils, donated by our District Governor Edgar Sy through our club for that school.

Also last Friday, the board approved a budget of Php 5,000 for the bloodletting project for this coming July 31. This is the twice-a-year bloodletting project which is regularly held at the Guimbal district hospital, but for the first time, this will be held at the provincial capitol this July 31 at 8 in the morning. I hope to see new faces from our club during this project.

We also have at least 4 more inductions to attend:  on July 25, RC of Iloilo City; July 28, RC of Manila Metro; July 31, RC of Metro Bacolod; and on August 1, RC of Metro Roxas. I would like to encourage our members, especially the new ones, to join me in attending these induction ceremonies.
