This August, which is Membership month, we are concentrating in the consolidation of our club membership as well as in the recruiting and induction of a few more new members to join us.

We have a lot of projects lined up for this coming September.  Past Pres. Joe has informed me that our Paul Harris Automotive Center at Fort San Pedro National School is still alive and kicking.  So sometime next month, we plan to visit and assess the facility as we are scheduled to give additional educational aid.

The board has been working hard in identifying and lining up guest speakers for our club meetings this coming month of September, so hopefully this will help us greatly in having interesting, lively and informative meetings every week.

Last Friday I attended the Council of Presidents meeting and we had preliminary discussions about a joint project for all the local clubs in connection with the Anti-TB drive of our District Governor.  The group also planned to hold a Family/Sports Day after our DISCON next February 2010.

Hopefully we can have our fellowship next week.  I have already directed our Fellowship chair Rtn. Paul to plan for it.

Finally, I would like to remind our members to please pay your dues now because we would be paying your R. I. dues in advance.  Meanwhile, my big thanks to those who have already paid!
