| Anti-Rabies Vaccination Campaign | ||||

|
Last week was a very fruitful week as we conducted the first Anti-Rabies Vaccination campaign in Barangay San Juan, zones 1, 2 and 3. We were able to vaccinate more than 211 dogs, castrated 2 and caught 3 stray dogs despite the bad weather. I would like to thank the Rotarians who despite of the unpleasant weather were able to give their valuable time and made this project a big success. We feel the joy in helping our community and the satisfaction that our club has made a big difference in the fight against rabies. Our District Governor will be visiting our club on October 13, so let us show our full support during his visit and let us be in our proper attire when we welcome him. Also in this regard I am asking all the committee chairmen to submit your final reports on or before October 6, so that Sec. Don and I can prepare and consolidate our report to our governor. I am requesting PE Toto to fast track all the preparation for our trip to the National Metro Sports fest in Lucena, including all hotel reservations and transportation details of our delegates. Finally, I would like to personally thank all the Rotarians who have shown their support for this trip! |
