Christmas cheer

It’s December once again, the time of year when we could feel the cool air and the Christmas cheer. Now it’s also the time to open our heart and extend our selfless service to our unfortunate and needy brothers and sisters. How? The first step for unselfish service is to accept the nomination for the various positions for our club’s 2010-2011 administration, and then to accept the mandate if elected, because through this we can serve more and better.

I would like to congratulate the Rotarians who were nominated for the various club positions and I hope that this time no one will back out. We should humbly accept the wisdom that it is the position which seeks the person and not the other way around. To those who will be elected, expect my full support for you!

We will have our election on our next meeting, December 8; therefore we should campaign for a big attendance for next Tuesday’s meeting so that we will have a quorum and can proceed with our election.

Finally, I would like to remind everyone that we will have our Christmas party on the evening of December 12th, so I’m requesting Dir Abay and Rtn. Paul for any updates regarding this joyous activity.
