Tuberculosis Screening Project

Just in time before the feast of Señor Santo Niño, we are also remembering our indigent children by having a tuberculosis screening project to benefit the children of our day care centers in Zones 1a, 1b, 2 and 3 in Brgy. San Juan.  This project, which we are implementing right after our meeting today, will have the most number of beneficiaries to date at 402 children. Hoping that members who are in attendance at today's meeting would be able to join us and share your time with these children.

During the regular board meeting, the board has endorsed the appointment of PP Francis Dela Cruz III and PE Toto Tanagon as the chairman and co-chairman, respectively, for the upcoming dental mission in March with our visiting sister club, RC Itako.  We are very happy to welcome Rotarians and service volunteers from our dynamic sister club from Itako, Japan and also from the ever supportive RC Downtown Manila.  Together we will again have the opportunity to sustain our help to our less fortunate brothers and sisters, especially, even after the “district awards season”.

Also in the first week of March, we will be hammering out a medical mission, this time, with our sister club RC North Edsa for a joint project.  Pres. Tony Gumiran has pledged that their club will bring in at least Php 100,000.00 worth of medicine towards this selfless effort.
