What better way to commemorate and celebrate the feast day of our Child Jesus than to care for the welfare of the children who He truly loves!  Today after our regular meeting, our club will be implementing our tuberculosis screening project for the children of our day care centers in Zones 1a, 1b, 2 and 3 in Brgy. San Juan.  This project will benefit a total of over 400 children in this barangay.  Viva Sr, Santo Niño!  Let me appeal to all members who are in attendance today to join us and share your time with these children.

Starting next week our club officers would begin the compiling of all our projects and prepare our accomplishment reports so that we can submit them on time to the District.  Allow me to remind everybody that our District Conference (DISCON) shall be on February 26 and 27.  Those who are interested to join the DISCON and haven't registered yet, please inform our club clerks or AG Kano Ng.

Although we are already consolidating our 2009-2010 reports to the District, our club’s service projects do not cease as we still have a full schedule for March.  We will be welcoming Rotarians from our sister club RC North Edsa for a joint medical mission during the first week.  After that, our Japanese friends from the Rotary Club of Itako will be here on March 19 for a dental mission at a soon-to-be identified barangay in the city. As such, I’m encouraging all our members to please continue on attending our weekly meetings.   Thank you for your support and be assured that your club officers are doing their duties and responsibilities for the betterment of our club!
