Dear   Fellow Rotarians!

Good Day!  We are pleased to inform that our sponsored Mobile Blood Donation activity at Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital was very successful.  This project is also co-sponsored by the International College of Surgeons. There were more than seventy (70) persons who made the noble act of donating blood that will surely save lives.  Thanks again to PP Ronnel Quinon for working out this project.  Special thanks also to fellow Rotarians who spared their precious time attending this activity, namely:  PP Kano Ng, VP Roland Uy, Dir. Jojo Valderrama, Rtn. Pepe Sullano and Dir. Paul Francia.

Similarly on the same occasion, we have showcased our donated Mobile Kitchen which captured the attention of the local folks and hospital staffs as well as delegates of the International College of Surgeons.   Some of them have a picture taken right beside the Mobile Kitchen.  Aside from feeding blood donors, we also fed numerous dengue patients in the hospital.

METROSPORTS FESTS
It is eight (8) days to go for the Metro Sports Fests in Bacolod City.   We have come up with the list of players to play each event.  Initial practices were already done for basketball, bowling and badminton.  However, we need to practice more specially to other events which we haven’t yet. I am appealing to all Metro Rotarians to please get involved.  Let’s not break the veil of history of being known as the powerhouse in this sports conference.

ADOPT A SCHOOL PROJECT
We have initially discussed with VP Roland Uy the doable medical services that we can provide to the proposed adopted school clinic of Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School.  We will finalize the same after consulting with RTN. James Woo, who is expert in this medical field.  We are also finalizing the details of proposed DEWORMING program as sponsored by RTN. Leo Malunes.  Similarly, RTN. Darrel has already scheduled a visit to the said clinic to determine the extent of the construction improvements that we are going to introduce.  We will report later the potential budget of rehabilitating this clinic.  Again, this project will not materialize without your support and cooperation.  How noble is our intention, it remains a dream unless we extend our hands to reach out and do it.
