Dear  Fellow Rotarians!

A pleasant and Blessed Day!

Last week, we had a very wonderful fellowship at Red Paprika. We would like to thank the birthday celebrators, PE CORLIE HO, RTNS. TONY KON and TOM LIM for donating one(1) lechon. Likewise, we extend our gratefulness to Sec. Leo Villavert who organized the said fellowship.  Most of all, we thank all of you who attended and made your presence contributed to the success of the said affair. To those who were not able to make it, we hope to see you in our next exciting fellowship.

Similarly on the same occasion, we have discussed the pertinent documentation and requirements to expedite the release of our Matching Grant. This will be another spectacular project for the club and hopefully, it could again boost the image of the Club and the Rotary as a whole.

METROSPORTS FESTS
Thursday, 7 October 2010, will be the commencement of the Metro Sports Fests in Bacolod City.  In every sports competition, the primary purpose is to win. But let us not forget that in rotary our main focus is to have fellowship and camaraderie. Win or loss, we will be there to uphold the spirit of friendship and camaraderie with fellow Metro Rotarians.

In the pursuit of this activity, apparently each Rotarian will be spending time, effort and money. Our delegates will surely incur expenses for the registration, hotel and accommodation. To those who cannot join us, we fervently appeal for your benevolence and support. Any generous contributions will surely mitigate the potential expenses that each delegate may incur.

ON TO KOREA
Please be reminded that our scheduled visit to RC Ansung East, South Korea will be on 21-26, October 2010. We understand that almost all requirements for the travel are on process already and soon the issuance of Visa. To those who are joining the delegation, you may keep in touch with PP Kano or PDG Ramon for your queries and additional information. We hope that this visit would usher our club to a closer friendship with RC Ansung East and consequently, will translate into a worthwhile partnership in community projects in the future.
