Matching Grant # 73730 – RESCUE VAN
PDF Print E-mail

Dear Fellow Rotarian,

Good news! I received a forwarded letter from Janna Glucksman, Grants Coordinator, the Rotary Foundation that our Matching Grant # 73730 – RESCUE VAN is now ready for release upon submission of special bank account and proof that we have remitted our Club’s share to the project in the amount of USD 3,000.00, to the Rotary Foundation.  While there are pledges from our members from which we can generate this amount, I appeal to all our sustaining members to complete your contribution to the TRF.  Aside from achieving the Paul Harris Fellow, your contribution would be a great help to the club to fund our share to this particular project.  Please help so we can expedite the implementation of this project soonest.

ON TO KOREA
Two (2) days from now our delegates will depart for Ansung East, South Korea to visit our Sister Club.  We wish them safe, comfortable and enjoyable travel and hopefully they could bring good results as they came back. We hope this reciprocal visit would usher our club to a greater level of amity, friendship and partnership with RC Ansung East which can be reduced later to a very useful community projects.

ADOPT A SCHOOL PROJECT
Two (2) weeks ago, I and Rtn. Darrel went to Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School to conduct ocular inspection of the school clinic which we planned to rehabilitate for the use of the school children. Rtn. Darrel will submit in due time the cost of labor and materials for the reconstruction.  VP Roland Uy has already conferred with Rtn. James Woo about the sustainable medical services that our club can possibly sponsor.  We will meet to finalize the details. We will let you know of the developments soonest.
