Dear Fellow Rotarians! At the start of the year I am sure that everyone is now recharged and re-energized to face the new opportunities and challenges this second semester of the rotary year. Christmas season ushered us the best moment to show are gratefulness to our Divine creator but it did not stop there. God’s divine work is endless and boundless and He needs more workers to work for His Vineyard. Rotary continues to respond this calling because YOU ARE ALWAYS there ever ready to extend “selfless service” that spells a great difference to God’s people. In our busy and hurried times, we have unfinished tasks to be completed this second semester of the rotary year, The New Board of Directors and Council of President must convene to persuade and convince our Incoming President to steward our club next rotary year. All elected to the New Board are qualified. Somebody must call the shot. If you feel it’s your time to serve, save the club from dissolution. I must confess that I fall short of expectation but this challenge will not diminish my determination to continue doing what we have started. Our rehabilitated clinic of Manuel L. Quezon Elem. School is almost completed. Rtn. Darrel informed that minor job will be finished this week. We will having a ceremonial turn-over of this project next week. Accordingly, we can do other medical services that we planned to offer in the said clinic. We have already bought the RESCUE VAN. Important interior equipment and instruments are now in being installed. A few days from now, the installations will be finally completed. Similarly, we will be having a ceremonial turn over of this vehicle to the RED CROSS in due time. I will be meeting the Administrator of Arevalo Elementary School to finalized our sponsorship on the feeding program of their ten (10) Malnourished pupils. I will give you an update of the development next week. January is Rotary awareness month. This is time to implement our proposed public image (Rotary IN Motion) project courtesy of Dir. Philip Co. He offered to us an Ad space in one of his building located at Benigno Aquino. Ave., Mandurriao, Iloilo City. We have initially discussed this matter in the Board. We will finalized the specification and the text with PP Chris. Thanks to the kindness of Dir. Philip. Lastly, please be reminded that our membership fee to RI is due on or before |
