Dear Fellow Rotarians,

As announced during our last regular meeting, we will be completing our line up today for the new set of officers for the RY 2011-2012. Earlier, we have elected the 12 members of the Board of Directors who will compose the team and from them we chose the VP, Secretary, and the Treasurer. They are the formidable team who will usher our Club to a greater level of service to our community.

Today, right after our meeting, we will be going to Arevalo Elementary School for the formal presentation of our 5 beneficiaries in the Feeding Program. I urge the Rotarians to spare time to be present there to see the recipients of your generosity and kindness. A lot more have been recommended to us for sponsorship, but we cannot accommodate them all due to our limited funds. What matters most is that even for a minimal number, we are able to start the program to help those malnourished pupils that urgently need help. I’m sure other concerned organizations will follow suit.

Again, I appeal to all of you to please continue to donate your unused children books, toys and clothes for the school children of Manuel L. Quezon E/S. We will formally turn over these simultaneously with their rehabilitated school clinic on 10th of February 2011. I am confident that we can gather a lot of these books and toys before the scheduled turn over. Our Honorary member IPDG Edgar Sy promised to be present and be a part of this endeavour. He will donate educational materials to the library of the school. This is a great opportunity for you too, to share your graces and blessings. A lot of us are blessed to enjoy what the world has offered, but there is greater joy and happiness when you share these blessings to those in need through SERVICE.

I would like to convey my endless thanks to all Rotarians who continuously attend our meetings. I am equally grateful to all activities Rotarians who participated and supported all our. Please help us more in campaigning for attendance in our regular meetings and other activities. To those who still have outstanding financial obligation with the club, our Administrative clerk is more than willing to assist you arrange settlements of your obligations, if there is any. We will be paying our obligations to RI and PRM anytime this week.
