Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Last Friday, we had our fellowship at Splash Resto Bar as tribute to our birthday celebrants for the months of February and March. We would like to thank all the Rotarians who graced the affair. Similarly, we acknowledged and thank birthday celebrants who made donation to help defray our bill. To those birthday celebrants who did not contribute yet, we will appreciate very much your belated contribution for our succeeding fellowships.

Today, we will visit again Manuel L. Quezon E/S to turn over the electric motor pump donated by our Honorary member IPDG Edgar Sy. We will also deliver the Pulmo Aid Nebulizer granted to us through district grant. Certainly, these equipments respond to the urgent need of the school for potable water system and health services. These are only initial efforts to help the present need of the school pupils. The school children need more assistance to alleviate their health and educational conditions.

On March 19, 2011, DISTAS will be held at Bacolod Convention Center, Bacolod City. So far, few Metro Rotarians are registering to attend the assembly. We are urging you, especially new Rotarians, to please join us attend this district affair. Likewise, April 1-3, will be our District Conference at Zamboanga City. There are only ten (10) Rotarians who registered to attend the conference. We are the biggest club in the district and it is expected from us to be well represented in this major district affair. We appeal for more Rotarians to join us represent the club.

On March 21, 2011, five (5) Rotarians from RC Ansung East are coming over for a friendly visit and to iron out the plan for having a Matching grant project. God willing, this will be a good undertaking that will benefit a thousand school children in the district. Let us keep our finger crossed and help work out to realize the project.

Time and again, Metro Rotarians never stop to seek ways to help the underprivileged and impoverished members of the community. It is a great pleasure that God Almighty continues to make us His instrument in serving His people.
