Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Foremost, I would like to thank PDG Francis Te and Incoming President Doy for the great minds by introducing new setting arrangement in our regular meetings. The new idea changed the atmosphere and monotony of our regular meeting. It also provides opportunity to new Rotarians getting assimilated with seasoned Rotarians.  This strategy appeared effective and I am confident this initial step can bring more innovations and improvements to our meetings to make them more interesting and exciting.

It is my continuing appeal to each and everyone to please help campaign for our attendance. We need the great influence and convincing prowess of our Past Presidents and the wisdom and inspiration of our Past District Governors.  We can develop more members’ participation and involvement in every club activities if we can muster good attendance.  Everybody is busy but respectable Rotarians always call to mind their sworn oath.

As discussed during the special meeting of the Incoming Board, the matter of reviving the group of the Rotary Spouses and the children has been discussed.   As the rotary evolves, it cannot be ignored that their participation in certain club activity is indispensable.  It is high time for us to tap their involvement and expertise as our supplementary force to efficiently implement club projects and activities.  We still have enough time to organize them in preparation for the next rotary year so everyone is urged to please support this endeavour.

Lastly, please be reminded of your outstanding financial obligation to the club, if there is any.  This rotary year is about to end and we hope to pass on this reign to the next administration with surplus funds.
