Today, we will be having District Governor Melvin de la Serna for his club visit. We will be presenting to him our club plans developed by the members and chairmen of the six committees. These plans will define the path that our club will take. We may be able to present relevant and wonderful plans. However, without your wholehearted support, we can never be successful in implementing our plans. Every member’s commitment is an essential ingredient to the success of the projects and activities that we will undertake this Rotary year. Since every member belongs to a committee, each one is expected to support and get involved with his committee’s activities.

You will notice that some of the proposed activities were already successfully implemented while some are ongoing. To name a few, we have the International Service committee’s projects, the Community Service projects, the New Generations/Vocational Service projects and Club Service/Membership committee projects. These projects were successful because of the support and active participation of most of the members. For those who have not yet experienced the joy of serving the marginalized sectors of our communities, I encourage you to take note of the schedules in our Metro Post and join the rest in service and fellowship.
