As it is every Rotarian’s responsibility to prepare all young people up to the age of 30, September has been designated as New Generations month. Our role as Rotarians is to help improve their life skills to ensure a better future, while recognizing the diversity of their needs. We are all encouraged to undertake projects that support the fundamental needs of the New Generations, such as health, human values, education, and self-development.

New Generations Director Chair Dave Jamora has organized the Interact Club at Westbridge and the Rotaract Club at West Visayas State University. The members will be inducted this month; the Rotaract during our fellowship meeting on September 10. After the induction Director Dave has lined up a couple of community service projects in partnership with his City Environment Committee projects.

The RCC Seminar for Districts 3850 and 3860 that we hosted was a great success! All aspects were flawlessly covered from the arrivals, hotel bookings, registration, program, fellowship and until the last participant had left Iloilo City. Thanks to the well-coordinated efforts of PP Chris, PP Kano, Doc Paul, Dir. Tony Kon, PE Philip, Dir. Darrel, Dir. Jojo, Dir Abay, PP Fernie, Rtn. Leo V., our new Rtns. Tonton, Popoy and Allan. The tireless efforts of Transpo Chair Corlie and his Team, to the Over All Chairman, PDG Toto Cua Locsin who orchestrated the whole affair and to all the members whose names I might have missed but supported the project by attending the seminar, THANK YOU. The affair added another feather to our cap, so to speak. CONGRATULATIONS!!
