Welcome to a new year of ROTARY SERVICE!!!

Rotary year 2009-2010 has just concluded with another sterling performance for our club. These achievements were the fruits of the great determination and unselfish efforts of our Immediate Past President Apuy Chan Chu, the Members of the Board, and as well as all the members. I commend IPP Apuy for a job well done, by putting the club into greater heights of Rotary Service in the district.

As we enter into another phase of service to the community, let us brace ourselves to the new challenges in our journey to uphold this year’s Rotary theme “Building Communities-Bridging Continents”. The tasks ahead are enormous, but knowing your great zeal and dedication to help more inspires me, despite the shortcomings and limitations to do and fulfill your mandate. I believe that the heart of Rotary is service and that every Rotarian has a heart that truly cares. Guided by this principle, together, we can make a difference in the lives of our less fortunate brethren.

We have sealed RY 2009-2010 with flying colors so let’s get back to business.

Please be reminded that we will be holding our induction and turn over ceremonies on July 16, 2010, at Kalantiao Hall, Sarabia Manor Hotel, Gen. Luna St., Iloilo City. Your attendance and your spouses’ presence are highly needed in this occasion.

I would like to appeal to all the members to pay the membership fees and induction assessment at the earliest possible time. We will be paying our RI dues and Rotary magazine before the end of July 2010.

Equally important is the forthcoming visit of Governor James Makasiar on August 3, 2010. I would be very glad to see you all to listen and confer with our governor.

On the other hand, President Elect Corlie Ho was designated to head our delegation to attend the RC Metro Roxas induction on July 9, 2010. Let us reciprocate RC Metro Roxas’ attendance during our last induction. For more details, kindly keep in touch PE Corlie.

God Bless us all!!!
