| Nominated Officers and Directors for RY 2012-13 | |
|
Last meeting we nominated our club officers and directors for RY 2012-13 and today we will be voting the nominees to their respective positions. The following were unanimously nominated without any challenge: President Elect- Philip Co, VP- Margs Morano, Secretary- Abay Sta. Romana, Treasurer- Leo Villavert, President Nominee (2013-14)- Pepe Sullano. Out of the eleven nominees for Director, we will be electing seven. Those nominated were: Allan Tan, Corlie Ho, Darrel Balogo, Felix Gurrea, PP Francis dela Cruz, Marc Gaw Te, Noel Jalipa, Ronald Lao, Tonton Ang, Tony Kon and Toto Tanagon. Once elected to their positions, it does not mean that the responsibility of running our club, and the burden of setting goals and seeing to its completion is that of the officers alone; while the rest of the members simply sit and watch. Whatever the club achieves or does not achieve is the responsibility of each and every member. Actually, the success of our club equally lies on the shoulders of its members, on our commitment and dedication and in our oneness in spirit to serve the community. The Search for Outstanding Barangay Health Worker, a project of the Vocational Service Committee is now under way. As of yesterday, the team of RCMI evaluators have covered ten BHCs or halfway through the first phase. We will resume tomorrow at 9:00 am from the Mandurriao Barangay Hall near the Police Station. I am specifically writing this down as we need additional members to get the job done. Last Board meeting VP Margs proposed that we will share the joy and spirit of Christmas with the in-patients of the Children’s Ward at WVRMC. Rtn. James Woo had been contacted to ask permission from the hospital director and the details of this project will be discussed during today’s meeting should time would allow. This way the members present will be aware and can share whatever inputs they have on how to conduct the activity. We are the biggest club in the district, so let’s show the community what we got. |
