Photos taken during the visit to the Bolilao Day Care Center last Friday, September 12, 2008. The Rotary Club of Metro Iloilo used the funds donated by Japanese Rotary Clubs (RC Itako, RC Asahikawa Kita, RC Fujishiro, RC Tsukuba Sunrise, RC Tokyo Chuo, RC Koga Higashi, RC Hasaki and RC Kasumigaura) to rehabilitate the center damaged by the recent Typhoon Frank. The materials for the repair of the roof and ceiling and repainting of the center were donated by the club and volunteer parents provided the manual labor. The center also received 2 wall fans, a karaoke machine, book shelf, books, educational CDs and DVDs, posters, flash cards, toys, pencils, chalk and other educational materials. The children also received toothbrushes and t-shirts (from Natasha) while the teacher received a pair of shoes from Natasha. Also turned over was a box of relief goods donated by the Rotary Club of Historic Filipinotown of Los Angeles, California, USA. Present during the turnover were Pres. Tony Lim, IPP Kano, Dir.
