Books were solicited from Children International, who sent 2 container vans full of hardbound textbooks from USA. RCMI distributed the books to 93 schools in Iloilo

Last November 15, 2007, the Rotary Club of Metro Iloilo facilitated the importation of two 20-foot container vans full of High School and Elementary Books which were donated by Children International.

These books were personally distributed by the club members headed by Pres. Kano Ng to various public high schools and public elementary schools in Iloilo City.

First project of the year: Metro Iloilo Rotarians led by Pres. Kano Ng at the Buhang Taft North Day Care Center, one of the adopted centers this Rotary Year.
